Broken Hill High School will be Non-Operational on Thursday, 30 June 2022

Dear Parents/Carers,

The New South Wales (NSW) Teachers Federation has directed its members to participate in state-wide industrial action in the form of a 24-hour strike on Thursday, 30 June 2022. 

Following an assessment regarding the number of teachers who will be participating in the industrial action, it has been determined that the school will be unable to provide adequate supervision on this day. Therefore, in consideration of the safety of the students, the school will be non-operational.

Parents and carers are asked to make suitable alternative care arrangements for their children on Thursday, 30 June. Normal school will resume on Friday, 1 July.
